Mat Olejniczak grew up in St. Germain, Wisconsin, and began working at a local funeral home while he was still in high school. That first job started a career in funeral service that now spans more than 30 years.

He became a licensed funeral director in 2003 and spent years working at funeral homes as an employee before buying Hamsher Funeral Home in 2015. He has led Hamsher ever since, guiding families through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Mat is proud to offer natural burial through Illinois Natural Burial. It gives families who want an alternative to modern burial or cremation a simple, meaningful choice.

Andrew Ringa grew up in the funeral business. He learned early that caring for families is a calling and is proud to be the fifth generation of funeral directors in the Ringa family.

He became a licensed funeral director in 2012 and joined his father at the family firm, Ringa Funeral Home in Lake Villa. Today he is also co-owner of Hamsher Funeral Home, alongside Mat Olejniczak.

Andrew brings a lifetime of funeral service experience to Illinois Natural Burial. He is proud to offer families a natural, meaningful alternative to modern burial and cremation.
